BREAD FOR THE NEEDY:
Volunteers collect bread from St Peter’s Bakehouse at St. Peters (www.stpetersbakehouse.com.au) and take it to the Magdalene Centre in the city.
NON-PERISHABLE FOOD AND GOODS:
A permanent collection trolley is situated at the back of the church for donations. Donated goods are taken to the Anglicare Magdalene Centre.
WINTER FOOD COLLECTION:
In June each year, All Souls Parish coordinates a local community collection of non-perishable food and personal hygiene goods. Volunteers deliver information leaflets to local residents, asking for donations to be left at the church on a set date.
Many boxes of goods are delivered to the Anglican Magdalene Centre as a result of this constantly overwhelming response from non-parish members of the community.
